Delete your account

You can start account deletion in the app. If you cannot access it, email us from the address associated with your account.

Request deletion

Open Settings → Account → Delete account in Chesspresso, or send a request to privacy@chesspresso.eu. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request is genuine.

What is removed

We delete or de-identify your account, sign-in links, synced library positions, and account-linked installation data, except information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Billing and purchase records may remain without an account link where store reconciliation, refunds, accounting, or the law requires it. Local data on your device must be removed using the app or by uninstalling it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Chesspresso account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple or Google account before the next renewal date. Store billing and refund rules continue to apply.

Timing

We confirm the request and process it within the period required by applicable data-protection law. If a narrow category must be retained, we explain why and for how long.
